Say hello to this beautiful couple. I am so blessed to know Justin and Allison (thanks to my boyfriend, Andy!). I’ve known and hung out with these two through our friend-gatherings, and I was so honored when Allison asked me to photograph their wedding next year. Andy used to make “Cory and Topanga” jokes about them, and I never understood it. When I found out they’ve been dating for EIGHT AND A HALF YEARS— it all made sense. Eight and a half years. Let’s just take that all in…

The couple picked two outfits for the shoot. One was classy, and the other was a casual/comfortable outfit for the lakeside. Initially, we were aiming for the golden hour, BUT even when mother nature isn’t on our side (clouds on clouds, and not a slight peek of sun)— the photos turned out amazing. We did something different than what most couples would do. We did their engagement session at their ceremony and reception venue! Shoutout to Oak Ridge Hotel & Conference Center in Chaska, MN! I enjoyed capturing and being around these two that day, and I CAN’T WAIT to see what their wedding will be like!
