Jill and Alex are the perfect pair. I absolutely adore these two and I am beyond excited to share their wedding. Jill and Alex’s entire wedding day was so relaxed, pretty, and full of sunshine. The color scheme consisted of navy blue hues, rich wooden browns, and white/creams. I was so obsessed with Jill’s bridal accessories! As soon as I laid out her jewelry, I could not help myself to admire them a little longer. Alex’s attire was also one of my favorites. I totally dig the tie-less idea! Love!

Their first look took place at Alex’s dad’s house which was a nice little getaway for the two of them before the ceremony. It was a beautiful home with a private backyard that gave them the perfect setting. The two were able to load up on hugs and kisses during this alone time before they see their friends and family. The ceremony and reception took place in Waseca, MN at a new and upcoming rustic venue called A Touch of Country Class. This venue amazed me! The ceremony was surrounded by lush weeping willow trees which provided the perfect silhouette around the couple. Jill and Alex also wrote a letter to each other which they sealed and locked away in a beautiful vintage box. The letters are to be read down the road if they ever go through a tough time. It was such a beautiful moment to be a part of. After the ceremony, the couple and guests headed across the road for the reception. The sun was beaming down providing so much warmth that guests could not wait for cocktail hour! Of course, I helped myself to the freshly squeezed lemonade stand and it was so refreshing and delicious!

During the reception, I asked to take Jill and Alex away during the sunset because who does not want gorgeous sun-kissed photos?! After the two danced their first slow dance, we snuck away and walked into the fields behind the venue. From there, I let the two be themselves without me telling them to do much and they worked their magic! :) The sun glowing in the background with the open fields AND a gorgeous couple made me the happiest girl alive at that moment! This moment was the last hoorah for my time spent with them on that evening. I drove back home thinking how I could not wait to relive their wedding day with the photos I’ve captured!
