Woah! Where do I even begin? I met these two lovebirds at Caribou in the beginning of fall last year. We sat down and chatted over latte and chipotle (it was dinner time!) and I got to know Mackenzie and Conor better. I met Mackenzie through her sister who also happened to get married at the same venue and had me as her photographer as well. It’s an amazing thing to get to document more than one wedding for the same family! Speaking of family, I LOVE THIS COUPLE AND THEIR FAMILY! I just love it when my couples and I hit it right off at first meeting. That’s how I felt with Mackenzie and Conor– I felt like we could talk about anything and more than just their wedding. Of course, we did not have time for that! :)

Mackenzie and Conor’s love story began when they met at work and had to travel together. With their fate, they were bound to come together some way or another! Mackenzie started to giggle when she told me how they met and that their feelings began to grow and working in the same place had to be discussed. Things worked out, Conor found a new job, and the two began their journey together. Now, I HAVE to share their engagement story. It involves a puppy. Conor surprised Mackenzie with a dachshund puppy and asked her to marry him! WHAT! They named her, Guinness, and call her GUINNY for short. SO CUTE! You can check out their engagement session here!

Their wedding day was held in September where the weather was perfect and the greenery was even better. You know when fall is near, but not quite yet? It was that kind of weather and view! The day was relaxed, intimate, and all about celebrating their love with their family and friends. The little details in the wedding were the best. Their stationary and decor were navy blue, white, and a touch of gold. Mackenzie’s bridal bouquet and the bridal party florals were lush with hints of succulents! I LOVE succulents so much! :)
