Oh my! Where do I even begin? It’s been a really, really long time coming since I have last blogged a wedding! 2018 was an incredible season, and I have been lucky to document some of the most prettiest weddings! I have also been matched with the most loving + kindest couples. Man, I really love my job!

Christina and Ryan got married last October, and I am so excited to share their wedding highlights with you! Going through these photos made it feel like it was just yesterday. I also had the pleasure of working with the incredible wedding planner, Sarah, from Lasting Impressions for the first time! She was such a joy to work with! Seriously, she made everything such a breeze!

Christina and Ryan’s wedding day started off with the bride getting ready in her family’s lakeside home. Honestly, I don’t get to shoot a lot of getting ready details at the bride’s home, but I can definitely say it is one of my favorites. There’s something special about the bride getting ready in her own room with the comfort and familiarity! Christina’s dress is just simply beautiful, paired with her Belle Belle bridal shoes! Her rings were also held in the famous Mrs. Box in a classic black. You will also see her bridesmaids also wore black! Personally, I do not see black that often for wedding colors, but it was such a perfect accent among the blush and nudes! Definitely heart eyes for me!

Ryan was getting ready at the church where Christina also grew up going to. They had their first look followed by portraits. It was a pretty windy afternoon, but thank goodness for sunlight! The couple also got to take a few photos with their precious golden doodle, Winston! He is the most adorable dog. I love it when my couples incorporate their furry companion in to their engagement or wedding!

After their beautiful church ceremony, guests took a scenic drive along the lake to The Lafayette Club in Minnetonka. The trees were golden with autumn hues, and it was one of the prettiest drives I have ever taken towards a wedding reception.

Okay, let’s talk about the ballroom. Please admire all the beautiful details styled by Lasting Impressions + Sadie’s Floral brought together by the couple’s vision! I could probably take a million more photos of that room if I did not have a schedule to follow :) Guests were enjoying appetizers and bubbly in the cocktail hour while I took a few more photos of the bridal party during sunset.

The evening ended with a dance party by Instant Request, and a photo booth provided by Nora Events. Guests absolutely enjoyed themselves at Christina and Ryan’s wedding. What a celebration!
